The one night Event featured Matt and friends including
Kevin Martin of CandleBox, performing favorite hits and classic tunes to support
Adopt The Arts,
a nonprofit organization working to provide music education curriculum for underserved elementary schools in the Palm Springs Unified School District
With the implementation of Adopt the Arts in the Palm Springs Unified School District, students and educators alike will be able to tap into their curiosity and expand their creativity. These traits will carry children into adolescence and adulthood, teaching them valuable life lessons and encouraging them to express themselves in different ways.
“This is not about making the next rock star, it’s about helping to create the next creators — and the new world needs more of those,” Sorum says.
“Being able to GIVE back gives my work a sense of PURPOSE.” MM
