Jason Campbell
Zen Wellness Qigong and Meditation, Co-Owner
Songwriter/Composer
HIGHLY PROLIFIC might be a redundant TURN OF PHRASE, though NOT when it comes to MASTER Jason Campbell.
A 7th degree black belt, Master Instructor recognized by The National Qigong Association, Yoga Alliance and The International Doh Yi, owner and licensor of Kung Fu, Zen Yoga and Zen Wellness Centers, author of numerous books, manuals, CDs and DVDs, and musician and composer with albums debuting at #1 on Billboard are only some of his achievements.
Jason and I first connected in 2018 when I took him and his sister Robin out to the California desert for his first professional photoshoot.
We arrived at 5am and waited for the sun to rise to capture him, Robin and symbols representing the 5 elements of Earth, Air, Water, Fire and Metal, that are so integral to his music, instruction and life.
βWe hit #1 New Age Billboard, can not imagine doing this without the amazing photos.β
Throughout the years I try to keep up with imagery to capture his numerous accomplishments, such as 72 new album covers in five months or so.
Seven Chakras,
The Eight Trigrams
and many
more...
I also have the extreme pleasure of capturing Jason in his element as Master Instructor, teaching people of all ages not only how to master themselves through the healing practices of Qigong, meditation and Kung Fu, though also how to be good people.
Watching his young students look up to Jason in awe is both heartwarming and inspiring. My most favorite moments are hearing Jason instruct the kids to thank their parents for bringing them to practice, then instructing them to thank me for photographing them. Having a crowd of children in their gi bow to me and thank me is an honor Jason has bestowed upon me.
Knowing Jason and his incredible team at both the Zen Wellness Centers and in his music is a true blessing I am thankful for every day. When I grow up I want to be just like him π
